Testimonials

"I had the great pleasure of working with Hunter Kissam in 2016-2017 when he refurbished a clock given to Hopkinton Public Library in 1901. I described the clock and our needs to Mr. Kissam over the phone and he immediately became intrigued; he was happy to come examine the clock and advise us on how to care for it during expansion work on the Hopkinton Library. Mr. Kissam very kindly accepted the responsibility of removing the clock works and storing them, and then doing the work on the clockworks in time for the re-opening of the library. We had an opening ceremony for the library during which Mr. Kissam talked about the clock for those who had gathered, and then he restarted the works. All who were gathered there that day were infected with the enthusiasm Mr. Kissam had for the library clock. It was quite evident that he loved what he did for a living and that he had an enormous amount of expertise in his field."

"Our wall-mounted timepiece was already middle-aged when the Library was built in 1903. When it stopped ticking in 2015, we called Hunter. Thanks to his expert ministrations, we have all confidence that the pendulum will swing for another century."
